We are pleased to provide you with e-mail reference service. Please read the following information carefully before submitting your question to the Eisenhower Public Library Reference staff.


Guidelines for E-mail Reference Service
We will answer short, factual questions. Please include your full name, telephone number and library card number (if applicable). Please give us as much background information for your question as possible. Telling us which sources you have already tried can help us answer more quickly. If you will not need the answer after a certain time, please include that information as well. A librarian may contact you for more information if necessary.

Whenever possible, the Reference staff will respond to questions received from Monday through Thursday within 24 hours. Questions received over the weekend may require a longer response time. Please bear in mind that the library is closed on Sundays. Therefore, we will not respond to any e-mail received on Sunday until the following Monday. If you would like an immediate response and for more detailed questions, contact the Reference Desk during Library hours at 708-867-7828.
