Residents of Norridge and Harwood Heights should be receiving their summer issue of our Library Newsletter in the mail. If yours hasn't arrived yet, browse it online or stop in to pick up a copy. Registration for programs begins April 14th.
The library will be closed on Friday, April 18th for a day of staff training.
We will also close on Sunday, April 20th in observance of Easter.
While our library building will be closed, book drops will remain open. Our website and online resources will be available as well. Now might be the perfect time to try out a downloadable ebook or to stream a movie via IndieFlix.

Despite our best intentions to remain open, the extreme cold has forced us to close at 5:00 pm on Monday night. We expect to open for regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday morning. If you or someone you know needs a safe place out of the cold, both Norridge and Harwood Heights are providing warming centers. Check in with the Norridge Police at 708-453-4770 or the Harwood Heights Police at 708-867-4353.
Any items due on Monday or Tuesday, may be renewed online or by calling 708-867-7828. If your items are not eligible for renewal, return them on Wednesday and we won’t charge you late fees for those two days. Already overdue items will remain overdue.
As the year comes to an end, Eisenhower will be closing in observance of the winter holidays. We'll be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Have a great and safe holiday and we'll see you in the next year.
