Grab your pencils and dice! We are going on an adventure without even leaving the library! Find the secrets in the tomb of annihilation and see if you can stop the curse in this Dungeons and Dragons adventure. Registration is for all seven weeks.

Registration begins May 25th for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Others may register beginning June 1st. Priority for Kids programs goes to Norridge and Harwood Heights residents.

Polish Heritage Book Club: The Greatest Battle

Join us every other month for an English-language book discussion group focused on literature related to Poland and Polish culture.

This month we're discussing The Greatest Battle by Andrew Nagorski.

The battle for Moscow was the biggest battle of World War II, yet it is far less known than Stalingrad, which involved about half the number of troops.Drawing on declassified documents, accounts of survivors, and reports of Western correspondents, The Greatest Battle illuminates the clash between two systems based on terror and relentless slaughter.

Polish Heritage Book Club: Death in Breslau

Join us every other month for an English-language book discussion group focused on literature related to Poland and Polish culture.

This month we're discussing Death in Breslau by Marek Krajewski.

Police Inspector Eberhard Mock is called to investigate the murder of two young women. But uncovering the truth is no straightforward matter in occupied Breslau, a city is in the grip of the Gestapo, where spies are everywhere, corrupt ministers torture confessions, and Freemasons guard their secrets with blackmail and violence.
