Learn the Carvey: Engraved Bookmark

The Carvey is a machine that engraves, carves, or cuts flat materials like wood, plastic, and metal. Learn the basics of the Carvey's design software and create a personalized wooden bookmark.

Registration starts May 6th for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Online registration for everyone starts May 13th.

Kids Carvey

Grades 4-6 (with an adult) Registration Required. Workshop Waivers are required to complete registration.

Learn about the new Carvey machine. Everyone will have a turn to design, create, and decorate their own sample project! Parents are required to assist their children with the machine.

In-person and phone registration for kids programs begins Monday, August 5th for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Online registration for everyone starts August 12th. Priority for Kids World programs goes to Norridge and Harwood Heights residents.

Take your Carvey skills to the next level and learn how to use multi-depth cuts and merge shapes. Must have previously attended our Learn the Carvey class to register.
