Eisenhower's Homebound Program is designed to aid people in Harwood Heights and Norridge, IL who are unable to come to the library. This program includes all the services and materials the library provides. A reference librarian will assist in selecting and delivering materials to your home.

This is a one-to-one assistance program so that each patron receives just what they need, or want. The scope is as varied as our patrons. It could be keeping up with favorite authors, or asking about a waiting list for new book releases. It could be a preference for large type books, or books on cassette, having a video delivered, or requesting magazines from our collection. This also includes non-fiction activities, such as requesting cookbooks for a new diet regime, information on vitamins to baseball cards, or books on how to improve computer skills. Everyone is different in their needs and we try to accommodate everyone on a personal level.

The only restriction is that you need to live in Harwood Heights or Norridge, and be in need of assistance. If you think you could benefit from this service, please call 867-7828 and ask for reference.
