Award-winning author Lori Rader Day's newest novel, Under a Dark Sky is a psychological thriller set in a dark sky stargazing park near Mackinac Island where recent widow Eden Wallace is attempting to conquer her debilitating fear of the dark. But when another park guest is murdered, the dark may be her only protection.

Crazy 8s Math Club - Season One

Join Bedtime Math's Crazy 8s Club to build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess. It's a totally new kind of math club. You'll get to do mischief-making activities like Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice, and Toilet Paper Olympics. You'll take home cool gadgets, too.

Pen and Ink Writers Group

The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique.

Spooky Lantern Jars

Anonymous Teen Writers

Gertrude Stein, Picasso and Paris

For some 40 years, Gertrude Stein's home on the Left Bank of Paris was a renowned gathering place for artists and writers, most notably Pablo Picasso. WomanLore re-enactor Betsey Means brings Stein and her 1920s salon to life.
