Pen and Ink Writers Group

The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique.

Leo's Little Engineers

Ages 5-6. Registration Required.

Part of Leo's Little Explorers. In true Leonardo Da Vinci fashion, we'll explore the worlds of math, science, art, and literacy. This week, we'll examine the concept of shapes through engineering. This program is ideal for those attending half day kindergarten.

Page to Screen Book Club: The Stepford Wives

Every month we'll watch a movie and discuss the book from which it was adapted. This month we'll watch The Stepford Wives (2004) after reading the novel by Ira Levin. Rated PG-13. 1h 33m. Copies of the book are available at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before the screening.

Al Capone and the World's Fair

Anonymous Teen Writers
