After Hours Teen Time: 10 Things I Hate About You

April 10th,
4:30pm to 7:30pm
We're keeping the library open after hours just for teens in grades 7-12. Bring your friends to watch a movie, eat some pizza, and make a craft or learn something new.

This month watch '90s teens navigate the world of high school dating then Amy from Culture of Safety will show you how to stay away from danger in a variety of situations.

In-person and phone registration starts February 3rd for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Online registration for everyone starts February 10th.

Friends Book Sale

Look for the Friends of the Library in the Book Sale Room on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month to support the library and find great deals.

Page to Screen Book Club

Every month we'll watch a movie and discuss the book from which it was adapted. This month's adaptation will be announced soon. Copies of the book will be available at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before the screening.

Bring Your Own Book Club

Come to the book club with no required reading! Bring a book or two (any length, any genre) to discuss with fellow readers and librarians. Enjoy a snack and get ideas for your to-be-read list.

Pen and Ink Writers Group

The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique.
