Medical Marijuana in Illinois

Illinois is among the 31 states with cannabis laws allowing people with certain medical conditions to use marijuana for treatment. Kirsten Velasco from state-licensed medical marijuana clinic, FloraMedex, answers your questions about state licensing, what medical marijuana can and cannot do, and how to get a medical marijuana card.

Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Scale Model Club

After Hours Teen Time: Ratatouille & Cupcake Decorating

We're keeping the library open after hours just for teens. Bring your friends to watch a movie, eat some pizza, and make a craft.

Friends Book Sale

Learn the Carvey: Engraved Bookmark

The Carvey machine engraves, carves, or cuts flat materials like wood, plastic, and metal. Learn the basics of the Carvey's software and create a personalized wooden bookmark. Adults and teens 7th grade and up.

Cozy Winter Movie Night

Pen and Ink Writers Group
