After Hours Teen Time: Final Girls and Write Your Own Horror Story

We're keeping the library open after hours just for teens. Bring your friends to watch a movie, eat some pizza, and make a craft.
This month watch a group of college students get transported into a 1986 slasher film and then write your own horror story either alone or as a group.

Family Yoga

Join us for Family Yoga! Kids and parents will have this yoga class together. Mats will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Waivers are required to complete registration.

Pen and Ink Writers Group

The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique.

Excel 2016 Series

In this two-part class, you'll learn:

In Part 1: 
  • How to identify and navigate the basic parts of an Excel Worksheet (Spreadsheet) and Workbook
  • How to maneuver and enter data into cells
  • Excel's different styling options
  • How to use a template
  • The structure of formulas/date ranges in Excel and be able to use AutoSum
  • How to print and save your work

Advanced Carvey: Acrylic Ruler

Take your Carvey skills to the next level and learn how to use multi-depth cuts and merge shapes. Must have previously attended our Learn the Carvey class to register. Must have a library card and a Workshop waiver on file.

Mamie Doud Eisenhower, the Hostess in Chief

January 22nd,
6:30pm to 7:30pm
Mamie Eisenhower was not only First Lady, she was also an Army wife, mother and grandmother. She even inspired her own color, Mamie Pink! Visit with living history interpreter Ellie Carlson as she relates Mamie's life as Ike's wife, our First Lady and "just a good friend," which is how she most wanted to be remembered.
