After Hours Teen Time: Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Matchbox Cameras

We're keeping the library open after hours just for teens. Bring your friends to watch a movie, eat some pizza, and make a craft.

This month watch as Sky Captain and newspaper photographer Polly Perkins save the world then build your own prop matchbox camera.

Friends Book Sale

Knitting Mittens in the Round

$5.00 - Winter is here for real and you need to keep your fingers warm. In this four-week class you'll receive all the supplies and instruction to knit your own mittens using the "in-the-round" method. Previous knitting experience is required.

French Twist: Petra and the Music of France

Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books challenges students in grades four through six to become familiar with literature. Comprehension and retention are put to the test in a Jeopardy style battle between the teams.

Area schools create their own teams and gather at the library to compete in a five-week battle on questions derived from selected books. See your school's Battle Coach to sign up.

Classic Film Series: Night and the City
