Friends Book Sale

The Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall

German historian Anette Isaacs, M.A. presents a historical overview of the period from 1961 to 1989 when the Berlin Wall stood as a physical and ideological divide between East and West Germany and a tangible metaphor for the Cold War.

Veterans' Breakfast

We're saying thank you to the courageous men and women who have served our country by offering current service men, women, and veterans a free pastry and a hot beverage followed by a photo slideshow, music, and reminiscing. Please register using the group option if you're planning to bring your spouse or a guest.

Kids Carvey

Grades 4-6 (with an adult) Registration Required. Workshop Waivers are required to complete registration.

Learn about the new Carvey machine. Everyone will have a turn to design, create, and decorate their own sample project! Parents are required to assist their children with the machine.

Modern Times Film Series: They Shall Not Grow Old

Teen Music Club

Page to Screen Book Club: High Fidelity

Every month The Page to Screen Club watches a movie and discusses the book from which it was adapted. This month we'll watch High Fidelity after reading the novel by Nick Hornby. 2000. Rated R. 1h 53m.

Deliciously Fictitious Book Club: Catering to Nobody

Join us every other month in Fannie's Cafe to discuss culinary-themed mysteries and sample delicious recipes from the pages of the books.

This month we'll read Catering to Nobody by Diane Mott Davidson. Catering a wake is not Goldy's idea of fun. Yet the Colorado caterer throws herself into preparing a savory feast designed to soothe forty mourners. And her culinary efforts seem to be exactly what the doctor ordered until her ex-father-in-law drops dead and Goldy is accused of putting poison on the menu.
