How to be an Adult: Household Tools, Maintenance & Safety

Join us for a summer long series on navigating adulthood for people ages 18-29.

This week learn about setting up a home toolbox and performing maintenance to keep your home safe and secure.

Sidewalk Chalk Fest

June 15th,

You supply the artistry, we'll supply the chalk and a sidewalk canvas. Snacks, music, fun for all ages.

AARP Driver's Safety Course

June 17th,
1:00pm to 5:00pm
AARP's class is an excellent way for drivers over 55 to learn defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws, and rules of the road. There are no tests to take, and participants are entitled to a discount on their car insurance upon completion. $15 for AARP members. $20 for non-members. Payable by check on the first day of class.

Pen and Ink Writers Group

June 17th,
7:00pm to 9:00pm
The Pen and Ink Writers Group gathers on the third Monday of each month to read short stories, poems or essays, all inspired by a common theme. Build up your writing skills through practice, presentation and positive critique.

Pixel Power

Grade 3-6. Registration Required. Workshop Waivers must be completed to ensure registration.

Art goes 8-bit! Bring digital art to the real world and make your very own pixel creation. Be completely original, or use one of the many patterns that will be available.

Preschool Playtime

Play date! Come see what creative fun we are offering for little ones and their caregivers. We'll offer a few engaging pre-literacy activities each week with a focus on play. Siblings under three or over age five may also participate.

Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Big Kids Storytime
