Amy Greenamyer returns for this high demand program! As the garden season begins to wind down, it's time to take stock of your garden tools and get them in tip top shape for next year. Bring in a shovel or a pair of hand pruners to learn the ins and outs of good tool maintenance and sharpening.

Leo's Little Explorers

Thriller Film Fest: Wait Until Dark

Mini Comic Con

Don your cape, tights, and mask, then drop in at Eisenhower to join hundreds of fans at our annual Mini Comic Con, a celebration of the best in pop culture. Have fun with everything geeky: comics, toys, video gaming, television, original art, collectibles, anime, manga, and more!

Visits the artists alley, shop for comics and collectibles, and participate in our costume contest.

New this year-- Anime/Manga Meet-up: Pokemon to Death Note and everything in between with anime/manga inspired art, books and videos for check out.

Friends Book Sale

Look for the Friends of the Library in the Book Sale on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month to support the library and find great deals.

Troll Hunt at the Morton Arboretum

9:00am to 3:30pm
$30.00 - Journey through the far-reaching forests to find Danish artist Thomas Dambo's six colossal troll sculptures. These 15- to 20-foot-tall sculptures are crafted one by one as protectors  of our environment. The Arboretum tram will carry you through the woods and stop at each sculpture. Some walking is involved, including some on wood chip paths. Lunch on your own at the Arboretum's Ginko Cafe.
