Anonymous Teen Writers

Writers in grades 7 - 12 are invited to join in on a weekly hour and a half of socializing, discussion, and, of course, writing! Share your poems and stories in a supportive space or listen to others read.

Kids Write Away Redux

Want to become the next famous author? Join us for one or all three classes this fall! The themes for each class are, "Why So Tense," "Let's Do Some World-Building," and "That's Your Hero?"

Big Kids Storytime

Storytimes offer great opportunities for kids in the proper grade range to learn and have fun. Big Kids Storytime is specifically designed for children who are in kindergarten through second grade.

Intro to the Embroidery Machine

Learn the basics of the embroidery machine. You will learn how to thread the machine and use the computer program to put a word or phrase on a piece of material.

Affordable Care Act Insurance Sign-Up Assistance

There's a short window of time to ensure your health care coverage in 2020. Open Enrollment for Affordable care act coverage runs from November 1st to December 15th, 2019. Every Friday during Open Enrollment, Joanna Prisiajniouk will be here to answer your questions, help you pick a plan, and enroll at healthcare.gov. First come first served.

Healthy Sugars

Sugars can have a major impact on various health factors including diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease. Join us for an educational talk with Oak Street Health and learn about sugars both good and bad, how to tell the difference, and best practices for controlling our sugar levels. Healthy snacks will be provided.

Writers Critique Group

Join us on the fourth Friday of each month this fall for constructive criticism and moral support from fellow writers. Bring up to ten pages of your work in progress for comments, critiques, and encouragement for National Novel Writing Month in November.

Cobb Scientific: Explorers!

Registration Required. Ages 12 and under. Kids under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Experience the wonder of science as you hold bubbles in your hands and observe as ordinary objects are turned into rockets. Plus, other scientific surprises!
