Spelling Bee Champions

Congratulations to Eisenhower patron Bill Peterhansen for earning a spot in the final round of the Illinois State Senior Spelling Bee. After nearly four hours, Bill and his top competitor Christine Paulding agreed to a draw at the Spelling Bee held at the Library on Friday, May 31st. This duel-win sent Bill and Christine on to the regional round of spelling in Park Ridge on June 3rd. There, Christine took third place. Bill was awarded first place and will now compete in the state finals in August. Everyone at Eisenhower is proud of our champions. Please join us in wishing Bill the best of luck.
